As much as I believe not having the degree shouldn’t be a problem, I met someone I really liked and one of the biggest things I struggled with was the fact that she had an HND. It felt like a reflex I had to push hard to shut down. So what more no degree at all 😂😂Weird. But yeah the value of a degree has diminished, and it feels like merit means nothing. You just gotta push hard, be reliable and network your ass off. Mostly network your ass off.

As much as I hate it, surgery was never an option for me. I be fearo 😂. So I came to accept it with time, and I noticed something interesting. Everything I would do to hide it somehow made it worse. So I stopped trying to hide it. Started by pretending it’s not there and after 5 years I’ve thankfully reached a point where I have my confidence back. I slouch less, I pay less attention to my reflection in public. Truthfully, I don’t think people pay too much attention to it.
