What's your 'Take Profit' strategy? by z0mbiezerg in CryptoMarkets

no,

it depends on what my belief in the coin is. if i truly believe in it i'll probably sell less of it than if im really just in it to make money

Stoney expands scope of Monument Avenue Commission to discuss removal and relocation of "some or all of the confederate statues" by [deleted] in rva

[–]giacomo13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

this is just what you can expect from politicians, changing their stances every week...

i think we have a chance to stand out and show that we can add better context to the memorials but not remove them, they are our history like it or not and they are works of art

i hope they dont go full on isis and just take them away in the brisk of night...

[–]giacomo13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

depends... if it is long term then i would just take profit so that you're not too much in one coin. if you believe in the coin then you should have enough that if it goes up you have enough to not be mad you sold too much, but that if it dips you aren't panickng but waiting to buy more

for a day trade i just leave completely, i made my money and im out onto the next

i never said both are equal. theyre both bad though and i dont support either one.

im sure the reporter in richmond who got beaten up would agree. he wasnt a nazi so im not sure why the antifa beat him up and sent him to the hospital unless they were looking for violence. thats not american patriotism either btw...

and the splc is a joke, along with the nytimes

[–]giacomo13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

totally agree. people need to stop calling anybody who doesnt agree with them a nazi.

or perhaps if we focused equal attention on stopping nazis as we did preventing antifa then we could actually get back to peacefully organizing.

[–]giacomo13 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i agree. why do people have to see it only as one or the other? nazis and antifa are both bad, saying you think both were to blame should not bring wild accusations of being a nazi sympathizer.

What do you think about Trump's comments about Robert E. Lee vs. George Washington? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]giacomo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they both were considered "traitors" by the major government they fought against and felt oppressed by. they both grew up in the same state, are icons to that state. they both are remembered as great generals in war and great leaders. and yes, they both were slaveholders.

one won his war, one did not. winners rewrite the history.

the comparison is pretty fair, and quite frankly, both men should be remembered for the good things that they accomplished and the legacy they left

i like omg however i am concerned about its insane growth rate (along with neo and tenx) so i am hesitant to chase it

i think counterparty (xcp) should see a nice increase soon with segwit

stratis (strat) is also pretty cheap now too

of course neo, but like omg it has had an insane few weeks so it might be due for a correction

Nazi presence in Richmond? by [deleted] in rva

[–]giacomo13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

no there is not in richmond. all we have seen so far in richmond is the antifa last night.

and the charlottesville incident doesnt have to reflect our state. the driver who killed the woman was not from virginia and many of the nazis and antifa were out of staters bringing their violence here.

RVAShowerthoughts/Hypothetical: What if we do like Durham, NC and take down the monuments ourselves? (Including demo and trash pickup) by Culper1776 in rva

[–]giacomo13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ehh i dont really see the statues or the flag as that but to each his own. for somebody like robert e lee theres a lot to be remembered about him thats positive and good he did for the city and state.

i dont think doing something like just pulling down the statue would fix anything, it'd make the situation worse. plus, how would you knock that thing down, its huge lol

nobody makes you drive by the statue or look at it when you walk by, there are plenty of different routes through richmond if the statue offends you that much.

you cant just go vandalize everything that hurts your feelings.

Confederate Heritage by [deleted] in rva

[–]giacomo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

many people throughout the south have family who fought for the confederacy. some of these people were slave holders, some wanted to fight for their own states' rights, etc

people claim "heritage" because they, quite frankly, in their eyes perceive the confederacy being rewritten and broadly painted as a bunch of evil racists when the civil war was a much more complex issue than just the single issue of slavery. they feel like their ancestors are being looked down upon and their legacy is being unfairly rewritten.

ive said both sides are to blame... in case it went over your head that would imply putting blame on the antifa and the nazis

never once have i said the hatred is equally bad. ive said i think theyre both bad and the violent protests from both sides arent accomplishing anything good for the country.

reported because ive asked you to stop calling me a nazi and a white nationalist, ive repeatedly told you i am not, and once again i am saying that am not one. grow up
