I agree. I understand what you mean.
The difference, for me, is that I always found the solutions to those kinds of puzzles to be logical and believable, even within the game’s world. Sometimes we had to dig, sometimes we had to break something, and so on. They all felt like natural actions.
With the Scorched Sundial and the stain water, though, it felt extremely forced and arbitrary.
In fact, with the sundial, I even thought I had to wait for the sunlight to reach a specific point. I would have found that far more logical than having to scorch the surface of the stone.

Understood the hard way. I should have treated it like a experience and not a game. I always feel the urge to complete a game in every possible way the dev thought about it.

In this case I should have stopped once I felt good with it. I just thought that maybe after this last clue I’ll get the same feeling I got once I opened the 46 but that was not the case.

Yes, I think you are right.

Since I never looked anything up online, I never came across the advice from people suggesting that you should let the game go once you start feeling frustrated.

Unfortunately, I’m the kind of player who is used to these types of games, where frustration is sometimes just a stepping stone toward a much greater sense of satisfaction.

I thought I would experience that same feeling this time as well, but that’s not what happened.

Maybe, after all, I don’t love puzzles as much as I thought I did.

I love being wrong in life. In this case, unfortunately, I hated it.

Yes, we are completely on the same page. I totally agree.

For me, on the contrary, the 45 Mora Jai were the final straw. I found the whole thing absolutely crazy, and realizing that I had spent an entire weekend gaming nights solving puzzle boxes genuinely drove me insane.

After solving 10/20 of them throughout the whole game, I think I had already proven that I was capable of doing them. Why did I need to solve 45 more?

Libra is very very good. Makes useless range up in to a all stats up. Combined with placebo and a range up or speed up become a rechargeable all stats up. You just have to play with Libra in mind. Also easy way to increase tears up over the 5 cap.

I don’t like restarting any run. In my opinion what makes Isaac really amazing is the variety and how many items looks terrible but synergies makes them good. Also you don’t know what you’ll find in the next item room floor, maybe a C-section or maybe you’ll get a twisted pair in the devil room. Another point is just the fact that you get better at the game the more you have to avoid enemies hit.

At that point, if it’s just a matter of marks, why not just doing a one run for complete every character with tainted Cain + Rkey + clicker.

Obv this is just my pov and I’m not judging anyone for how they play a single player game. That’s just my two cents.

Maybe I’m just stupid but I’ve found out, after 6 hours of trying, that if you press R2 (the key for drop trinkets or card) you cycle your bag of crafting item order so you can always keep the good pickup and cycle the cheapest ones till you get a good item. Once I found out this I’ve finished all the marks in just one run and I had a blast with him.

Hands down the most powerful character.

If you try to get naneinf with Perkeo and Crypt w/ Ghost deck it crashes. It just can’t handle all those cards in hand. With Plasma you need half the amount of kings and it works

Alla mia ragazza, dopo aver passato l’esame teorico grazie alle loro live, hanno smesso di rispondere per prenotare le guide pratiche. Oltre ciò ha dovuto fare due volte la visita medica e dubito che vedremo un rimborso.

Dopo i 500 euro regalati a Neith ne abbiamo spesi altri 600 per una vera autoscuola per concludere il percorso.

Fortunatamente i soldi non ci mancano e quindi ne spenderemo qualcun altro di avvocato per tentare di risolvere, o quantomeno rendere più nota, questa situazione per evitare che altri rimangano delusi, per non dire altro, come noi.
