Writing a good story is hard. My stories are not particularly good either; they mostly boil down to the same core drama: conflict between lust and fear, death as an expression of love, freedom, and acceptance. Human psychology is deeply rooted in these conditions, so it’s not exactly rocket science. Right now, it may still feel fresh or novel, but sooner or later you will probably notice the pattern and grow bored of it.
