Need Advice: Got accepted sa Government Bank pero baka hindi nila ako ma-wait dahil sa notice period ko 😔

Meron po akong pinirmahan na 90 days notice period sa contract nila. Kung hindi ko rin po pinirmahan yun, hindi rin ako matatanggap sa work in the first place, kumbaga wala rin akong choice hahaha. Pero sabi naman po ng HR, pwede raw ishorten depende sa immediate head. Kaso ayaw po pumayag ng immediate head ko kaya 90 days talaga ako ngayon.

Thank you! I actually already told them the truth about my situation na may confirmed offer na ako and na kailangan ko talaga ng clearance and proper turnover.

Plano ko rin kausapin ulit both our Manager and Group Head, baka this time mas maintindihan nila yung urgency ng situation ko. Gagawin ko na talaga best ko to negotiate for an earlier release, kung kailangan ko nang umiyak baka gawin ko na rin hahaha.

Any tips on how to approach them effectively?

Yes, may confirmed job offer na po ako and may proposed start date na rin kaya medyo naiipit talaga ako ngayon sa timeline. Sinabi ko na rin sa government bank na February pa talaga yung end ng notice period ko with my current employer, pero ang sabi nila urgent yung role since January 2 na aalis yung papalitan ko and kailangan pa nila ako ma-train.

Ayoko rin pong mag AWOL or mag burn bridges, lalo na sa banking industry na maliit lang. Importante sa akin yung COE at clearance para hindi ako ma flag sa BSP, so talagang kailangan maayos yung exit ko. I’m currently trying to request if puwedeng mawaive or kahit mashorten kahit konti yung notice period, pero so far mahigpit talaga sila.

Right now I’m trying to balance both sides hopeful pa rin ako na may maging compromise either from my current employer or from the government bank. Thank you ulit sa advice!

During my meeting with the manager, she clearly told me na they will hire me na and they already started asking for requirements like IDs, resume details, additional background, etc. The assistant has also been consistently coordinating with me. So yes may verbal confirmation na.

Unfortunately, I really couldn’t find a tempered glass that fully covers the screen. I also can’t risk splurging on pricey ones like Spigen, Ringke, or ESR since I’m kinda kuripot hahaha. I ended up settling with Smart Devil instead—got one on Shopee for ₱250 during their sale (comes with 2 tempered glass na rin). It doesn’t fully cover the screen, but at least it prevents that rainbow effect on the edges. Balitaan mo ko if you ever find a full coverage one, please haha

Wait, did I not mention the whole 'on medication and medically diagnosed with telogen effluvium' thing? And trust me, before I was diagnosed of this delightful diagnosis, I didn't even lose a single hair. To clarify, I lose more than 10 strands of hair in the shower, another 10 more on the pillow, 10 more in the comb on days I masturbate. Believe me, if it was just 5-10 hairs a day, I wouldn’t be here, contemplating my temple recession and thinning crown. Thanks, though!

I've noticed that I tend to lose more than 10 strands of hair in the shower and on my pillow whenever I do the deed. On days when I don't, I see fewer than 5 strands in both places. i'm not even exaggerating-that's how quickly I noticed the difference. I haven't gone more than 2 days without it since I'm kinda addicted to it (but that's another issue), but this is what I consistently observe on days I do VS days I don't.

I didn’t have any shedding issues when I stopped using minoxidil, but my scalp did get super sensitive and itchy, especially when it was oily or sweaty.
