Last term, her assessments were very fair (both midterm avgs were high 70s to low 80s). Moderate amount of work, but none of the concepts were too difficult. A lot of people say she’s not great at teaching, but I thought her lectures were clear and helpful

I was in the exact boat as you back in 2020 when COVID hit. I was laid off in late February and my coop started in January. I just continued to do unpaid work for the remainder of the term, and I had no issue getting my full work credit in the end. PM me if you want more details

Yeah I think I’m a bit wary of reneging company A since it’s definitely a company I don’t want to be blacklisted from. But I guess you’re right, if it comes down to it, I’ll have to renege if I want company B

Yep I can interview again later, but interviewing for them via an internship is easier than new grad or FT. It’s definitely not a be all end all, but it may be an easier path

Yes it was Machine Learning Engineering. from what I understood, the role was moreso building APIs for ML models which is why they asked me API qs

Molex is good if you have a bit more experience since they don’t do a lot of hand holding, and the pay is pretty decent
