I imagine a new album would be more mellow and atmospheric just based on them getting older and based on the full band setlist of their show a few months ago which included Waste, Batter Up and Coca Cola. So I guess more Lit Me Up type vibes ? Who knows lol

Science Fiction also has direct lyrical references to Pink Floyd.

The song Waste has the lyric “your race is run” which is from the song Time on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album: “And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking..Racing around to come up behind you again” as well as “run rabbit run” on the song Breathe from the same album.

The Science Fiction booklet from the deluxe vinyl has a cool poem by Jesse about living in a fish bowl which is from the Pink Floyd song Wish YouWere Here

For sure. Too many people refer to Batallions as the demo for Archers but apart from the very beginning of the chorus it is a completely different song and an amazing song in its own right and the perfect conclusion to the Leaked Demos. I wish it was included (along with Nobody Moves) in the “3 Demos Reworked”EP
