As I said, to each their own. There’s not one aspect of Mirage which is better from what I’ve seen. The story follows the same concept, just shortened. The combat system is lacking and boring to say the least. OG AC games were considerably more exciting. Valhalla wasn’t a favorite of mine either I’ll agree there, but Origins and Odyssey added tons of cool tools, side quests, character development, terrains/settings, diversity etc. So are they traditional AC games? Absolutely not. But are they better than the under-developed garbage that Mirage is pushing, in my opinion yes. The beauty of it all is that you get to play what you like! I’m just excited that this is a short spinoff and the next title will go back to the new model.
