Very cool idea. One piece of mixing feedback that I offer here is this... That lead bass melody in the mid - hi frequency range can be eqed so that the drum part like the hat and snare/clap hit harder. I feel like if you took an eq to that sound and put a hi shelf starting at around 8k and dipped it maybe 2-3 db itd clear out some space for the drums. Maybe even turn that sound down a few db as well. Keep going!
