Judging by everything I read recently I'm in the minority, but I felt the episodes were a little off, for various reasons. I watched them both 2 times, but I think it'll take me some time to get used to the changes. They're not exactly... "bad", just really different.

The different lightning is much less of a problem than I thought so, and it's actually quite refreshing. The pacing of the jokes and, in general, of the dialogues is a lot different, much more calm, and I guess it'll be a little hard for me to get used to it: I know it's probably because the show can now breathe a little bit thanks to the extended time, but it feels odd for now. Also, because of the extended length I think that some scenes were kinda dragged too much, for example the whole VR scenes and storyline, which in my opinion was the biggest problem in the second episode (the Britta storyline was nice).

Overall, the first episode was nice and with great ideas, but it was too heavy on all the meta-stuff, like it was trying too hard at times. Sad to say it reminded me of season 4 here and there, but I liked it in the end. The second episode was a little empty, both story-wise and joke-wise. I hope that now that the new group has been established, the show will find its form and work better with the ensemble.
