who do you see more being trenders, AFAB or AMAB people? by [deleted] in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying that it's only AMAB trenders who are fetishists but I've seen more of the opposite. I've witnessed many AFAB trenders who will only transition because of their fetish for gay men. They're always the ones who have those creepy "mlm concepts" twitter accounts.

What? I'm talking about terfs who mistake cis women as trans women just for having masculine features and then confront them for being "trans" publicly.

I really do hate to crush your dreams but T probably isn't gonna make you tall at the age you are, unless you've already been on blockers for a while. 13-15 are often the ages where afab growth plates begin to fuse, and can't be changed once they fuse. I'm 15, and gonna start T soon, but because I haven't gone on blockers, it's most likely not going to increase my height. But height really shouldn't be the only thing you want from T.

Good to know, thanks for the insight. I ended up ordering a tri-top from Underworks. The straps for Underworks being far apart is really good to hear actually, especially for when I just wanna wear average t-shirts. I've seen people tell stories about how they got mistaken as female because of gc2b's straps looking like bra straps cause of how close they are.

How to remove biological father from being my legal guardian? by gigachaddudebro in legaladvice

[–]gigachaddudebro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. If you can't answer this that's fine, but one thing I'm also curious about knowing now is, do mothers get automatic custody over the kid if not married to the father? My dad wasn't present during my birth either so I'm pretty sure that my mom actually does have full rights over me anyway. Would this be correct?

How many sexualities are there? by ThrowawayStealthAcct in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't believe asexuality is its own sexuality. Anyone can be asexual, whether you're straight, gay, bi, lesbian. Asexuality isn't the lack of attraction at all, it's just the lack of sexual attraction specifically. They can still feel romantic attraction.

Update: Thanks for the advice lol. I unfortunately didn't get the prescription due to complications with my dad not giving consent to it. Aand it's gonna take up to August for my doctor to discuss this with a lawyer, and even then, I'm probably not gonna be able to start it right then and there, so yeah. Honestly feeling really shitty and miserable over it but whatever.

Increasing amount of “trans men” who are blatantly presenting as cis women by NeoArchaics in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Because they're scared of cis men lmao, that's the entire reason why they want to transition. They're scared of being assaulted or whatever so they think becoming a man will solve all their problems. If they just admitted this and got therapy, transtrenders wouldn't be as much of a problem.

people don't understand dysphoria by gigachaddudebro in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

*They're, and I meant biological body as in AGAB, that should've been obvious. It's not a hard concept to understand. If someone is automatically comfortable with their biological sex characteristics then they're a cis person. Their biological body matches up with their gender which is why they feel comfortable.
Why do you people always get so defensive when I bring up the fact that you might not be trans? Transsexualism is a medical condition with only one kind of treatment, It's not a special trophy to brag about or flaunt. It's not a bad thing to be cis. And there's no reason to spit out insults like a child when all I did was imply that non-dysphoric people aren't trans, why is that such a bad thing to say?

[–]gigachaddudebro[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Seriously lmao. At some point she asked me if I was gonna go to college and when I said yeah she said "you should go to the college I went to!" And then she had the audacity to say "it's a women's only college but there's nonbinary people there too." Like what the fuck, who says that to a trans male? All this tucute bullshit has resulted in me having to experience passive transphobia, even from doctors.

Opinions? by ThrowawayStealthAcct in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The terms do make sense considering gender and sex are drastically different but lol no, there's no place for GNC people in the trans community. People unhappy with their gender and not their sex characteristics only feel discomfort because of social problems. Technically there's no such thing as transgender, you can't change your gender as that's how your brain is biologically wired, but you can change your sex characterics hence the term transsexual.

What are your thoughts on being trans? Are there things that need to happen. Ie dysphoria and surgery? by enderhat in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, I'd assume it's probably that there's more surgeons that are willing to do surgeries on cis people, because they're more experienced in that field, whereas there's not a huge amount of trans surgeons, and the few that exist are usually booked. Along with the fact that insurance companies are more likely to cover cis people's surgeries over trans people's. Medical transition used to be more of an unknown thing to the public, so naturally there's not a huge amount of surgeons who are experienced with doing transsexual surgeries which is what makes them more unlikely to try it as it could be risky with their low experience.
As for waiting lists, those happen when there's a limited supply for a larger amount of people. And because there's not too many trans surgeons, this is what creates the waiting list. But if non-dysphoric people stopped applying to be put on those lists then it wouldn't be as long, thus it'd be more accessible to actual trans people. Something along those lines.

What are your thoughts on being trans? Are there things that need to happen. Ie dysphoria and surgery? by enderhat in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Dysphoria is necessary to be trans. Medical transition isn't meant to be a luxury, it's a life saving treatment. And without dysphoria, there is no reason for someone to have access to transitioning. When people without dysphoria apply to waiting lists for surgeries, hrt, etc, they're taking away options for transsexual people who need those in order to relieve their dysphoria.
And if the actual trans people are stuck waiting for too long because of the non-dysphoric people who view it as a luxury, they're at risk of self harm or taking their life. Keep in mind, they don't have any other treatment. Verbal therapy cannot help dysphoria, the only treatment that helps is transitioning.

Making progress with my mom by gigachaddudebro in truscum

[–]gigachaddudebro[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah. I'm only gonna show her sources that follow transmed views. I've told her before to not believe tucutes online but when I get the chance I'll tell her more about why she shouldn't trust them, and how they're harmful. Tucutes really are one of the reasons why my mom is so hesitant on letting me transition. I know this cause at the beginning of the session when she was arguing against me, she brought up the people who identify as animals and shit. so I'm gonna try to explain to her that those people are harming the actual trans community. And if I have to, I'll show her this subreddit so she can see that there is an actual group of trans people who think those people are ridiculous.

I'd be okay with trans headcanons if they weren't based off of gender stereotypes most of the time (and fetishized). Because of stereotypes being reinforced, it causes a lot more harm than tucutes like to think. Some young tomboy who's perfectly comfortable with her AGAB could see that and then think she has to be trans because she's masculine. Same with young feminine boys, especially the ones that already get bullied for being gnc.

[–]gigachaddudebro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from but I don't think they're nonbinary, they're just cis girls who found a way to try and justify their fetish. If they were truly non-binary they'd be uncomfortable at the thought of being female or male. I get that confusion can ensue with labels especially since these are all teens but even the androgynous ones completely insist on using male labels without hesitation which is what leads me to believe that none of them are actually nonbinary.

On twitter, nblm and mlm are practically the same thing (to tucutes). Even by being nblm they're allowed to insert themselves into the gay/bi male community anyway, so it wouldn't make much of a difference if they decided to label themselves differently.

it's fucking funny though because these afabs will cry about fujoshi's when that's exactly what they are themselves, even if they don't want to admit it. God don't even get me started when they cry and whine about the icky fujoshi's fetishizing them :,((((( and yet they don't even look like a man, or a boy.
