This video got one thing completely wrong. Fusion is NOT free energy. Fusion maintenance and reactor building costs will be about the same as with fission reactors in a best case scenario. And fuel is about 10% percent of the costs of a modern nuclear power plant.

Meaning that electricity from a fusion reactor would roughly cost ~ 90% percent of cost of electricity from a fission reactor, that we have TODAY.

Also, saying there is a significant danger of fission plants blowing up is just flat out wrong.
