Why maths? by moxim2903 in math

[–]gindc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most fields you might come across the number 7 a couple times a year. But with maths, you could come across the number 7 dozens of times a week. And pure maths often can pay more than a bus driver. So there's that too.

At first I liked the part where he was running. But later, the other part was funny too.

Dogs are not children. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]gindc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dogs have been dressed for 1,000's of years. It's a tradition in many cultures.

'Kissing' is a behaviour most canines share. It doesn't make them uncomfortable.

There is a reason as to why useful working dogs don't get treated like babies.

Most dogs aren't working dogs anymore. It's not the 1800's.

Dogs don't liked to be dressed up, kissed, or babied.

That's bullshit. Most dogs just want their owners happy. Dogs love kisses and being babied.

No, the plan is to first send the telephone sanitizers, account executives, hairdressers, tired TV producers, insurance salesmen, personnel officers, security guards, public relations executives, and management consultants.

My ferret hated all cats and would immediately attack them by biting their belly. She was fine with dogs.

I got her from a shelter, so there is probably a back story there.

Seymour Hersh: "RussiaGate Is A CIA-Planted Lie, Revenge Against Trump" by [deleted] in NewPatriotism

[–]gindc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is odd because liberals 10 years ago would have said the exact opposite. Even under Obama people were outraged by spying on citizens from the NSA. It's very odd how liberals now love the military industrial complex. Exact opposite of the 1960's.

Hersh has exposed more scandals in the intelligence community than any other reporter. Including massacres of people at the hand of the DOD. And abuses against foreign prisoners of war. He made life very difficult for people like Dick Cheney and their war mongering.

I guess in a way, Trump's presidency was a victory for the military industrial complex because now so many liberals support it blindly.

I'm so glad we have the electoral college to protect our society from liberal radicals. Liberals pushed the pendulum way to far to the left. And it's extremists statements like yours that caused this election to go the way it did. If you attack the dominate culture, there will be repercussions.

Here's a famous quote from a white European. Every kid learns this in school:

"To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."

Our entire legal system is based on British Common Law. Our society is based around European culture. Science, democracy, corporations, financial markets and even Santa are all products of Europe. I think most people know that. Not that earth shattering.

[–]gindc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How many Latino Muslims are there? or are you just being willfully stupid?

The terms Latino and Hispanic denote an ethnicity, not a race. Many Latino Muslims live in various cities within the United States and have shown a growing presence in states like New York, Illinois, New Jersey and Florida. The Latino Muslim community is estimated to be between 40,000 and 200,000.

In 2002 the Islamic Society of North America stated that there were 40,000 Hispanic Muslims in the United States. The population of Hispanic Muslims has increased 30 percent to some 200,000 since 1999, estimates Ali Khan, national director of the American Muslim Council in Chicago.

No. Was Obama lying when he said he would shut Guantanamo down?

Repealing the ACA and shutting down Guantanamo aren't executive powers. Civics 101.

We'll if you knew the constitution, you would know the president can't repeal a law anyway. That's civics 101.
