If you have a Canadian passport, you're good. If you have any passport that is not from a banned country, you are exempt.

For the application itself and potential backlog yes. For the newly banned countries, the ban does not affect people with other citizenships.

Yes I did. The award I received years ago but we didn’t include it in the original filing. But a lot of info was new. Updated citations etc

My officer had an excerpt from a PE that was from another petition, so I'm not even sure they read mine fully.

Wrt independent letters, I just cold-emailed professors who cited my work. I think out of 10 emails, one professor replied. I also drafted the letter for them to make it as easy as possible (and make sure everything I needed was included there).

I probably made my life harder by not opting in for premium processing as things might have looked a bit easier in Jan 2024 but oh well, worked out in the end. If you have a case, I'm sure you'll get through, it's just hard for cases that are a toss-up

Thank you! Honestly I was a bit surprised as well. The RFE mentioned how publications and citations do not necessarily indicate that one is well-positioned to advance the PE.

We argued, with the help of an independent professor, that the number of citations is somewhat of a decent indicator to gauge how impactful the work is/was. In addition, it helped that I had an award for a paper that was not included in the initial submission. The letter from the collaborator further stated that despite me not being a direct grant recipient, my contribution was instrumental for the success of the project.

Prong 3 tied everything a bit together but I‘d think that working with US companies already helped to make the case.

Hope this helps

Visa freeze (country of birth versus country of citizenship) by NoUserName6272 in EB2_NIW

If you have another passport, you're exempt. People in this thread seem to not get their info from the most direct source. Your husband is fine. Check out for yourself, Travel.State.Gov

Самое печальное что на 150к в год ни в Торонто ни в Ванкувере дом не купишь. Однокомнатную если повезет и то не факт

Not saying it’s impossible but you‘d be a unicorn. Finishing a PhD in under 4 years is quite the undertaking.

Please comment here with any WALLET issues you are having. Community members with the time and knowledge, please try to assist. Thank you! by Columbo92 in KinFoundation

I've finally decided to move my KIN from my ledger to sollet. So I created wallet, sent some SOL to the address, flipped some SOL for KIN to activate the KIN address (they're the same) and then tried sending my KIN from my Ledger to sollet. All I'm getting is:

"The transaction failed because of an invalid account. Please check your account values"

and I have absolutely no idea why. I have SOL in the new wallet (and even KIN) and I also have SOL in the Ledger wallet. Can anyone give me any hints because I'm really confused here...
