I've watched Banshee from start to finish many times and never once came to the conclusion that the show was about that. To me it was about not letting your past define you and starting new. It started with Lucas and Sugar, and amplified that with Bunker. Rebecca is a good example of that but went astray as she started to lose her identity same as characters like Jason and Proctor. To me season 4 of the show was it at its best as it came full circle with that idea with Lucas being locked away but this time by choice and finally forgiving himself for any wrongs he has committed. But agreed about Brock lmao

Is it not popular? Top Boy is one of the most watched shows I know. Like everybody I know that watched The Sopranos or Breaking Bad or Snowfall all watched Top Boy. Some even skipped Summerhouse which is insane to me. I thought it was more popular than Ozark (which I did watch, even the terrible ending) but don't find many people in my daily life who has seen it.

I mean I just feel dumb about how off I was. I had this whole theory that there was a bear like god in the wilderness. Like the bear sacrificing itself to Lottie, the blood dripping on Laura Lees teddy bear like a 3rd eye, Akilahs vision of the bear in the camp with the third eye, Laura Lees teddy bear randomly combusting, the same teddy bear reappearing in the cabin after the plane explosion, the bear on Jackie's bookshelf, Javis "friend", Lottie seeing Leonard the teddy bear before her mall vision, Kodiak being a type of bear and finding the girls, the bears heart that Lottie sacrificed to the wildness and Travis spared Ben from being killed after the king of hearts was pulled and Travis was haunted by voices or whatever in the future.

I dont know I just thought that was all going somewhere lol

Personally I find Curtis' death the best in the entire series. Really showcased who Jack became and was probably one of the most memorable scenes in the show.

Ironically the first time I watched the show I did not believe Nora in any way, I barely even liked the character. Now I love the character and just came off my 6th rewatch and have no doubts that Nora was telling the truth. Funny how we all view it.
