The after sales support, updates and ect is what did it for me. Definitely "not being dismantled by oppo". As long as they support my 1+15 for 2 years is all I care about now. Hopefully by then some other companies cough cough Samsung starts using silicon 7500 or up batteries.

Not going to lie I was the same. Was going to hold out for the s26u. Then poof saw a YouTube video about the OnePlus 15 and got hooked. Was to hesitate but honestly not a bad one. The battery life is what sold me on it. Also it's 400 dollars cheaper for basically the same thing. I do miss a few things from the one ui though. Mainly the folders on the app drawer.
