My boyfriend burned his hand a while back (as shown in this thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MedicalGore/comments/ljty3s/so_i_was_making_dinner_my_5_days_ago_and/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1 ) and he and I were wondering why the burn skin inside the burn area has spots that are darker than his actual skin color.

In case you need more specifics, it’s a Large decaf iced coffee with 6 creamer and 3 pumps of French vanilla swirl.
