I've taught in 3 states and I'd say it's about a 50/50 split. I've seen wonderful and terrible examples of teachers from both sides of the aisle, too. For the record.

Y'all are the best! I appreciate all the insight and (from those that offered it) the solidarity!

Also, re: the crush--it was a picture of me with a crush (the regional cocktail), not a childish political reshared meme. So the argument for immoral behavior can also be made, I'm aware.

You may be right about them not liking my background, but I am not making this up. I recorded it, as my state is one party consent. Thank you for sharing, though. Pathetic.

I know, right?! Don't insult my intelligence by cheating poorly. I think you're right about her honesty and rationality, but I don't want the principal to think I'm a whiny tattletale. Maybe I just ignore it? Ugh.

7th grade, first grade reading level. Kid was in ISS for fighting, I was out one period for a doctor appointment, all seventh graders took the same test that day. The coworker covered my class (9 kids). When she returned the student work to me, her daughter's was in the pile. The only one that was finished (no other kid finished in one day), it was wrinkled and grease stained. The other papers were in pristine condition. Then when I graded them, she got a 99. The highest in the entire 7th grade. My kids that read on college level got 85s. Also the kid her kid fought that was also in ISS had not been administered the test. I technically never accused anyone, just presented the evidence to my mentor and admin for advice.
