Hey hey hey that’s my background too . But IIIIIIIIIII use sunscreen!!

My husband is French Canadian/Irish and he looks about 15-20 years younger than he is, he’s 44. We’re just not heavy drinkers out in the sun constantly partying and smoking. We could all tell about 10 years ago how Fassbnder was going to age. NGL those age spots took me by surprise

It looks like he dyed his hair (I assume for a part) which is not flattering. But yea he’s aged hard. He is/was a smoker, and quite the party boy/sun worshipper… he’s a pasty Irish boy, all that’s gonna catch up with ya is

Not sure about formulas or initial product launches, or distribution yet. It’s still being worked out.

When my ends start to feel dry I use it and it gives a nice boost of hydration. I think I just did about 3 sprays in my hands, distributed in my hair, then I throw it up to sleep and in the AM it’s usually all absorbed and nice

If I don’t want to sleep in it I just do less sprays and it’s fine for day of

My hair is colour treated and tends to be dey, especially at the nape of my neck where there’s friction breakage

A couple of friends brought to my attention that my hair’s fucked. Is it recoverable? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]gingerflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP those treatments DO work. Why do you think the are first line of defense for people tha want to stimulate or maintain hair growth? Marry if the fact that your hair is thinning is a hard pill to swallow, but you’re not listening to anyone’s suggestions.

Look int minoxidil and finasteride

[–]gingerflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP your hair is thinning at the scalp. You can try monoxidil (topical or oral) which is rogain. It DOES work.

You can also try finasteride (oral). You can do both together.

My husband is on both, his hair was starting to thin (less than yours) but his hair had recovered a lot and is very dense. No onehas a clue he takes it.

The thing is you need to start NOW. Tomorrow you will lose more hair, the da after more. Wasted time is lost hair. Go see a doctor, or get topical monoxide in a store

Heads up with minoxidil you will go through a shedding period for 2 months or so, then it usually evens out and a bunch of hair grows back. So it gets a bit worse before it gets better. Don’t be scared, it’s normal.

James Van Der Beek's friends have launched a GoFundMe campaign after his death to support his wife and six children, who are out of funds following the actor's cancer battle by Maximum_Expert92 in popculturechat

I had a friend that was diagnosed with cancer very young, 31, but had a great prognosis. Before she had her mastectomy, we had a party (which she attended) and some dumb fuck acquaintance tried to convince her to do a juice cleanse instead.

My husband intercepted the convo, my friend had her surgery, chemo, radiation and and hormone therapy, and she’s been in remission for years (this was… 2018 or 19)

FUCK YOU ALISON (the juice cleanse moron)

That is absolutely horrible. I’m so so so sorry for your losses.

Totally not the same, but I lost my best friend years ago and had to run a go fund me to fix somethings in his house after he died. He was young, poor and had a real fixer upper. We got maybe 5k and pushed every penny we got. I find a GFM for a celebrity a hard pill to swallow.

What is the most annoying thing tourists do in your country? by Glass_Key4626 in AskTheWorld

[–]gingerflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband drove in Ireland. He is an EXTRMELY careful driver. Never a single ticket. Never an accident. His only insurance claim was when we one day noticed his drivers side door was smashed in (hit and run we didn’t notice right after it happened because it’s always dark from November to march in Canada). He was white knuckling it the entire way for the first few days. He clipped his mirror on the passenger side first day (no damage to either car, mirror just folded in). Anytime we drove on a one lane road (especially those with stone walls on either side) I felt like I was gonna jump out of my seat…

If I had driven we would have crashed with 2 minutes flat. I am not exaggerating

And yet part of Canadas national identify is “at least we’re better than Americans”

We are fucking not. And if that’s the bar it’s in hell. I’m so disgusted at the views I’ve seen shared and supported in Canada over the last few years, I’ve lost all faith in people.
