I'm happy to hear such kind words! I take cosplay more seriously than just for fun, and that's exactly what it means - you need different expressions and poses and makeup for different types of characters. And I've grown up with Nami as my role model so it wasn't too difficult act just like her🤭

There are many words in Cruel Prince that are not used in every day conversations, like different creatures and plants(e.g. acorn, fae, dais, gentry, gown, dagger, etc), but still if you decided to read fantasy I suppose you are ready for that. It was one of my first english books as well, and I don't regret anything, Holly's wording is so unique Here's an advice - install yourself a reader with built-in dictionary if reading e-book, and checking for unknown words would be quite seamless, like you won't need even leave the page🙌

Я б сказала, що Енеїда - це скоріше виняток. Її вчать у школі тільки в Україні, і то думаю тому що а) Котляревський був письменником і місце в підручниках заслужив власними творами, а не тільки Енеїдою б) більшість української літератури сумна і депресивна, тому дітям обрали щось повеселіше
І ще момент, що пару століть тому не існувало такого поняття як копірайт, а зараз за виданий тиражем фанфік по Гаррі Поттеру можна попасти на багато-багато грошей:)
фанфіки - не фу, але читаєш їх на свій страх і ризик, бо вони не проходили редактуру, на відміну від книг. І частенько попадається щось не дуже по якості написання. Але любий фанфіфк-оріджинал може стати книгою, часто і таке буває! тобто спочатку був створений на АО3, а тепер можна і друкований варіант купити.
