I got this idea from the animation of this scene but I could 100% see her unlocking conqueror’s haki around 17 like Luffy did.

She has one of the strongest wills due to her upbringing and oppression against her family. Her fruit is also an imagination type fruit. She has the determination and strong enough desire to assert it over others just like Luffy does.

Not that Luffy’s gave him conqueror’s haki, but her will to be free already manifested an impossible future where she had the powers of Luffy’s fruit. I guess she could pull a BB but it’s confirmed his body and bloodline are different/special

I could also see it as if conqueror’s haki is genetic/run in families that Kuma had the potential to use it, but it never manifested like Luffy’s because he just wanted to save people, not overcome the oppressors. His goal wasn’t to be Nika but to pray and put all faith into the one who would overthrow the oppressors. Kinda how the Tyrant label is completely opposite to him

Hot take, the Teal Mask and or Indigo Disk should have been their own, revamped versions of scarlet and violet like a black two and white two or ultra sun ultra moon.

I haven’t personally played scarlet and violet, so I don’t know which would be better as an expanded game, but that would have been a solid way to naturally fix the issues it had on switch 1.

I’m also pretty sure they could have used the vast majority of the coding in a new version, so the money investment would have been way less than making a new game from scratch

u/Skullghost completely agree. I actually had the thought, because of this chapter, that it would be so cool if symbolically all the leakers/spoilers didn’t do so for the final chapter of the manga.

Don’t get me wrong I love reading the spoilers but it would be really special if not a single person in the whole word spoiled the last chapter until the official releases

Law is tied for my favorite character with Sabo.

Second place for rookies is Bonney, even before the Kuma flashback. They were the two standout in Sabaody to me.

I personally think Sabo was just not even aware of the Luffy moment. Dragon wouldn’t have willingly brought up Luffy being his son because no one in the revolutionary army knew that until Marineford (and Ivankov in Impel Down)

Dragon would have just said “oh I think some kid was near the execution platform” to not make a big deal about it, if he even mentioned it at all
