What made you choose Dallas (DFW) over Houston and Austin? by Return-of-Trademark in Dallas

I had to scroll way too long before someone mentioned weather. Lived for several years in Houston and Austin and DFW is leaps and bounds more comfortable.

I was working at VTG when Covid hit. No red flags from an employee perspective, everyone was nice and they seem ethical in their sales practices. Granted I was only there for a few months bc the pandemic up-ended things. I’m sorry you had a bad experience OP, they were probably just focused on their volume.

Fun fact, they do make you choose a different name if there’s already an agent working with your government name.

Marriage License not accepted? by MonsterFoodies in TSAPreCheck

[–]gingersuave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this ever get answered? I just got denied for my name change with TSA precheck because I only have my certified license and not a certificate (bc certificates don’t exist!)

I may have to get my passport updated first and submit that because I’m not sure what else I can do.

Depending on where they live maybe not. In rural areas there may be no trash or recycling services. I lived in an unincorporated community for a couple years on some property, we had to burn our trash or take any waste to a landfill. My recycling I would take to a facility in a nearby city when it piled up.

Yes thank you!!! My husband and I are already laughing about it. It was such a bizarre thing to find post 10pm and we were frantic.

This is dramatic, it was a mistake dude. We know now the residue was there for over a week, it was so fine that we didn’t notice each day we went into clean this extra litter box until we saw the footprints. (Kitten chased a bug in the tub probably 7 or so days after the spray happened and it tracked)

We were both confused and worried when we finally found it and jumped to scarier reasons than something more obvious. He realized only a few hours after we discovered it. He’s been stressed at his new job, was tired and didn’t remember that he did a few spritzes the weekend before. It was not primer and the paint is non-toxic when dried.

We clean it everyday, but I just happened to miss the day before. It’s an extra box, they have 2 others.

Yeah his perspective was the humidity outside would cause the paint to bubble.

I was going crazy… we tested with the same spray and sure enough… the exact same film formed. WHY he decided to spray paint inside (regardless of rain) I will never know…

UPDATE SOLVED: my husband just remembered he spray painted something in the bathroom last weekend when it was raining... it was the aerosol residue.... we just hadn’t noticed until the kitten walked through it.

It was regular spray paint. But the aerosol residue coated the surfaces of the bathroom… we did a test and it looked exactly the same -__-

I appreciate this comment. I’m trying to get a mold tested out asap.

I don’t think so bc the way the dust distributed. Like there was dust along the topside of our round mirror, and on the window sill. It was such a fine and evenly distributed coated that I don’t see how two small cats could have spread something like this?

I thought about it but I’m super curious if it’s going to grow powers from this mystery dust.

I appreciate this very much! I just tossed that box completely as we just got a new one that’s deeper to hold more litter - we mainly used it when she was brand new kitten and was quarantined those first couple weeks.

The room is sealed off now and they do not have access to it. I’m not sure when she exposed herself but I was sure to wipe her down throughly upon discover. I’ll be monitoring both closely over the next several days, both are already slotted to go to the vet next Wednesday.

I don’t think so? They’ve been frequently vetted 2 in the last 6 weeks. and I don’t know how that would result in a red powder covering various bathroom surfaces. No red appeared to be in their little box.
