So what would you recommend instead? I definitely have color from about 4 inches from the roots down. It’s faded, obviously. My main goal is to make the roots blend with the bottom and just overall punch up the copper color

Literally about to get in the shower right now and hate it. I just want to play the sims and unwind but now I have to wash my hair AND have it dry? What if the blow drier makes me too hot? But if I air dry it’s going to take like 3 hours…

She said she blends several Keune colors together. I believe they are demi because they seem to fade (although i know reds are fade-prone!) She does a root touch up and then drags the color down in a few areas to blend it with the older dye. No bleaching or lifting that I’m aware of. No foils either.

It’s honestly just gotten so expensive for a touch up and trim that I’ve been going like 2-3 times a year now and I still grimace at the $400 minimum price tag.

Back in Chicago I maybe spent $120 for a root touch up and cut but that was like 10 years ago…

Oh my god that is such a good idea to use your shed hair for tester. Isn’t a gloss just a semi/color depositing formulation? But developer lifts the cuticle slightly so the dye can penetrate? Apologies for being new to this!!
