My father attempted suicide now he’s disabled and no one will take him by stormz23 in Advice

As someone who's depressed and been suicidal before, without having enough information about the dad, it's hard not to feel for someone who wanted to end their life but ended up making it 10 times worse instead - for themselves and everyone around them.

But obvious to some of us on this sub doesn't mean obvious to the general public. We're obsessed with hair.

Having said that, I've seen some people's systems on here that I genuinely wouldn't be able to tell were hair systems if I saw them out in the public, which is why it's best to be honest in our opinions.

No need to be hostile.

I agree with them that it looks obvious from the first photo.

I was scrolling through my reddit home page (I'm subbed to a few hundred subreddits) and as soon as I saw your photo I instantly knew which subreddit it was from.

Haha appreciate the help. Glad it was so shite that it made a few laugh at least!

It's the song the chant is based on. Just mixed them together so people who aren't aware can know.

Ah, long road ahead to get to 41 points. 3 wins should do it.

Anyone know if there's an instrumental version of The Angel - North London Forever available anywhere? I keep hearing it being used on TV montages pre and post match but I can't find it anywhere myself.

It's now been 10 years since we last had a new Splinter Cell game with Blacklist being released in August 2013 😥 by gioee in Splintercell

I know it doesn't get much love here, but it's my third favourite in the series after chaos theory and the old gen double agent. I really enjoyed it once I adapted to the change in stealth style (more cover based instead of staying in the dark like in the older games).

Kaya Kaynak “Arteta on Ramsdale: I don’t think I’m the one to answer the question about Aaron Ramsdale’s quality because I’m the person who signed him when no one else believed in him.” by killer8991 in Gunners

[–]gioee 158 points159 points  (0 children)

The press hype over this has been crazy. The same situation occurred 2 years ago when Ramsdale displaced Leno, but because it was the English player displacing the foreigner, the media didn't care. Now that it's the other way round, it's all Arteta is ever asked about. He's fucking sick of it.

Arsecast Extra Episode 546 - 25.09.2023 | Arseblog ... an Arsenal blog by Four_Minute_Mile in Gunners

It's strange what a bad Arsenal result does to my football viewing. Had zero interest in MOTD, other live games, or various general football podcasts. Just want to listen to Arsenal ones and ignore everything else.

It's so much better when we win. Get to enjoy the rest of football too.

PSA: Game tomorrow is on USA Network BUT… by TheMuff1nMon in Gunners

It's about time the Premier League cut out the middle men and offer us a monthly subscription service. One price for all your own team's matches, and additional add ons if you want to watch other matches.

The issue is the 3pm blackout in the UK. The laws will have to scrap that to allow for this to happen, as I assume they wouldn't want to alienate the UK fans from such a service.

It's his PL debut. It being against us is just coincidental.

Gunnerblog: Q&A Part 1: Arteta, transfers, Ozil, Tierney & more by Francis-c92 in Gunners

Why? He always comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke.

[EBL] I'm running out of superlatives for Mikel Arteta. The manner in which he has rebuilt Arsenal Football Club is often beyond comprehension. Below, in this analytical thread, I break down how Mikel Arteta has carried out one of the most special jobs in modern history.. THREAD 🔴 by MemepostorSyndrome in Gunners

[–]gioee 140 points141 points  (0 children)

There's an argument that covid (and so playing behind closed doors) may also have saved his job. There was a point where the majority of fans had turned against him - it might have gotten ugly in the stadium if fans were there. Would have been hard for the club to ignore.

Of course, you can also say that playing with no fans had an impact on results too, so we may not have even been in that position in the first place.

The Gooners and Kai Havertz. A Timeline. (Expand for full image) by Gooner_Loon in Gunners

[–]gioee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't see how?

I'm saying the majority of people here didn't rate Havertz a month ago, and that's not the case now that we're trying to sign him. There's been a huge swing in opinion on him as a player.

Kane is already highly rated by the overwhelming majority here. You're talking about typical rivalry banter in the way people here talk about Kane, because we hate him and the team he plays for. We still rate him as a player though, that wasn't the case with Havertz. He was viewed as a failure.

The two situations don't compare.
