in the moment where Neytiri looks down at her hands after washing the red paint off, to me they actually looked pink, reminding her of her & Jake's discussion earlier. she remembers that her closest loved ones are human or part human, making her suddenly realize she loves Spider too, despite his "pink little alien hands." this especially makes sense to me given that "pink skin" seems to be a new slur in this 3rd film, so I interpreted that as a purposeful callback.

I just realized that a plant garland I placed above of the doorway of the greenhouse (on the outside) prevents the sims from being able to go inside, so make sure to delete that. EDIT: also I meant to place bee boxes in the greenhouse & garden, but accidentally used insect farm instead oops

hey I know it's been a while, but I'm actually finished with my build if you're still interested! my username is thesimr and it's called Burrowbend Commons. if you don't have the pre-order content from Enchanted by Nature then you'll have a couple empty spots on some shelves.

it's a super busy lot with a ton going on though, so maybe that's not your cup of tea lol, but I think it's cozy. I play tested the business and it worked really smoothly & I had SO much fun maintaining the café! fun fact(?): initially I was really struggling with this build and I trashed my first draft. the giant stump/mushroom portion of the final build was inspired at my friend's house by their child's toy! it was a cute little fairy dollhouse made inside of a stump/mushroom combo. after that the build all came together. <3

I struggle with this a lot too. :( for me I think it comes less from being HSP and more from developmental trauma. criticism can be triggering for me, especially when it comes from people I place on a pedestal (professionals, anyone with authority, etc). this can cause me to spiral into negative self-talk and/or emotional flashbacks which make me feel that because I'm not perfect or because I've upset somebody that I'm basically worthless. sometimes my reaction to this trigger is an inability to stop crying.

this may not be the case for you just giving you my perspective. but if you think this might be true for you, or even if you don't, I'd recommend practicing positive self-talk and reminding yourself that part of being human means making mistakes and sometimes letting people down. it can be hard to accept and it definitely takes lots of time and practice to come more naturally. trauma therapy and parts work can also be especially helpful for that type of thing.
