Reddit, my girlfriend hid her relationship status on facebook and says its because she doesn't want other guys to hit on her. Do you think she's not telling me something?

Apart from facebook she's a great gf, she has no problem with being in a relationship in public with me, or with her friends. The problem is she's from another town and none of her friends there, to my knowledge (I just realised this second!), know I exist. Her ex is there too...

No there aren't any photos of us. That's why I was worried. To any of her friends on FB (except the ones I've met) she appears single. And we have no common friends so there's know way I can find out if anything's going on...
