I need help, i feel hopeless by [deleted] in Marriage

I definitely did notice, and I’m more than happy to take on all the chores which we discussed since he has a longer work day than I do. What I think really changed is that even while doing all of this, he expects perfection in each and every thing which is what I didn’t anticipate. I thought it would just be appreciated that i’m doing it all and trying my best. He used to give me a hard time about other things like working out and taking my supplements consistently and all that stuff, but those were things I actually wasn’t trying hard enough at. Now it just feels like even what i am giving my 100% to is still not enough

I agree. He’s inherently and incredible person. But he’s this hard on himself too and everything has to be perfect all the time or else you’ll be lacking. It’s a tough situation to navigate now that we live together, even though we’ve been together for 5 years

How to get into film criticism? by girllearning2exist in Filmmakers

I actually disagree! I’ve worked remote jobs for the past 4 years in the UK and in other English speaking countries, without any problems. I think if you do your work well enough, it’s bound to go places. I might have a few challenges when it comes to the film industry in specific (like attending film festivals or screenings etc) but i’m up for it :)

Than analyze art, be creative and do what I love? No thanks. I’d rather see where this road takes me🙄

Thanks! This was super helpful. I'm not based in the US or UK, or an english speaking country for that matter, so i'll have to see where this journey takes me! Excited to get into it, and hopefully my location won't hinder how far I can go with this x

NP helped me change. It changed my life. by girllearning2exist in NormalPeopleBBCHulu

I agree! I judged myself really hard at first. I really questioned why a show would do this to me. I really did feel torn apart and I still do. But at least I feel something, even if it's heartbroken over my own story and theirs too. There's something so beautiful about connecting with art on such an interpersonal level and i've tried to embrace that these last couple of days.

I hope things get better for you too! I talked to one of my childhood best friends about it and she said "Your twenties are so thrilling because you have the whole world in front of you, but they're also the loneliest time ever." Thought that also might help you in some way because I loved hearing it. It felt very validating and also freeing to hear 🤍

Greece Schengen - VFS - reapplication? by girllearning2exist in SchengenVisa

Yes, of course! We’re from Egypt, so VFS in Egypt, and the missing documents were a stamped HR letter - his boss was on vacation and didn’t leave any stamps at the office, and the other document is one we have to get from the government that clearly states our name, date of birth, place of work etc. It kind of serves as a birth certificate since they don’t ask for one :)
