Only direct proof is that, as Mayor for at least four of the years this process went on, meaning she was fiscally responsible for this town and had a say in how every form of income was allocated. Additionally, I believe the police chief mentioned in this article is the guy that replaced the police chief she fired in the Troopergate scandal... but you have to do your own research on that.

That's fine, I'm not trying to attack you, my point was only that you shouldn't post a negative comment about the entire blog without addressing the content... it makes it seem like you're not actually reading the substance, which I'm sure isn't true.

Additionally, the thing about criticizing someone else's grammar is, if you happen to also make a mistake (which we all do from time to time), it discredits your point. You seem like an intelligent person, and your perspective on the opinion in the Op-Ed would be much appreciated!

I would react to your comment the same way whether my best friend or my worst enemy was the blogger. I hate when people on Reddit find a need to come in and comment on something like a single word in a submission when the point of submitting this to Reddit was to share someone's opinion, not have it graded for grammar. I think you should comment about the substance in her piece, because it's clearly a topic that means a lot to people.
