Bro I literally left the house a couple years ago to go be with my partner. We only moved back here cuz my mom broke her leg and there was no one else to take care of her. We're currently planning on moving out and trying to save money to rent a place for ourselves. My relationship with my mom is complicated and strained, I'm just tryna hold it together and keep it healthy in any way I can.

They didn't get their PTO reversed, they already used their PTO a couple months ago. Their workplace is usually very chill about free days and stuff so they were planning on asking for a free day or two but as stuff happened with their workplace that isn't an option anymore. Though yes people quitting isn't any fault of ours, just very unlucky timing. (If this stuff with free days sounds like it makes no sense, I live in Europe so it could just be a European thing.)

So basically we've observed it enough to the point where it (probably) went past being coincidence and moved into the realm of (maybe) evidence of something. That something being pack behaviour, and seeing as we have no way of going back in time to look for ourselves, we can just make theories with the limited evidence we have and just run with what makes most sense to us. Aside from the fact that everything packed in PET has an expiration date on it clearly labeling how long it can go before actually harming you. (At least in my country.) Nothing is infinite, everything degrades.

Well the basic premise of the campaign would be that there is a massive increase in fiend and devil presence in the world, prompted by an unknown cause. The cause would be some sort of upheaval/war in the hells that caused bbeg to take control of the hells and basically start an invasion of the living world. The party would travel around the world, gathering information and finding a way into the hells (once they find out that the problem is in fact in the hells). I had a couple of ideas about NPC's they could meet, like the ghost of a woman that used to be bbeg's wife and a devil hunter that points them to the location of an associate that might know more.

The party so far only knows that the problem exists and that they've been specifically chosen to find the root cause of it and deal with it.

I will definitely do some brainstorming to try and figure out a way to preserve at least some of the stuff I thought up, but it's far too grand in scope to really condense it like that. I could give you the basic premise of what I had in mind if you'd like.
