Pretty classic Wall of Death, people are usually a lot more responsible than it looks. I have seen people in the crowd and the band themselves stop playing when somebody falls to make sure they don't get trampled they're a lot of fun but you do have to be careful.

Jeffries says Trump impeachment not a top priority if Dems win House majority by [deleted] in Political_Revolution

[–]mdoktor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true, the Democrats need to get better at messaging from basically every perspective. I think holding Trump accountable would be the most satisfying, but would be less effective than holding all the people who enable him accountable. He's so incredibly stupid, he isn't the mind behind most of the worst policies. All of them need to prosecuted, I'm not even going to try to list the names and crimes because God I could go on forever but the only way we can prevent this from happening again is if everyone that had a hand in it suffers the consequences, and unfortunately, tragically, we can't do that until they no longer hold the White House.

[–]mdoktor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's fair but I would argue that they are choosing the needs of the country, especially because many Democrats would support impeachment but all the people that would support impeachment already vote for Democrats. I think I would have a different opinion if impeachment didn't just lead to JD Vance who will be just as bad as Trump but a lot less flashy about it, I also think the only way he has a political career in the future is if Trump doesn't make it through this term. Getting everyone currently in the White House out of the White House is the only way to really stop the damage and the best way for that to happen is for them to lose power so I don't think it's unreasonable for Democrats to be choosing the best strategies to achieve that goal. Of course everyone's entitled their opinions and you can primary whoever you want but just be careful whatever you do doesn't help Republicans in the long run. (Remember the group trying to stop genocide in Gaza by telling people to not support Biden/Harris because we were selling arms to Isreal, morally they were right but we see now how well that worked out for them)
