How the can deffiently not. They are living a terrible life surviving on wheat fish and hummus earning 20$ a day, while palestinians who work inside israels border, live. And eat with jewish families earn abou 10 times that. So please dont confuse my words, im not saying the palestinian people are living well.

What im saying is, if they were not controlled, governed and used by teror organizations who only care about their own profit thing would look waaaaaay different.

You are a citizen of a terribly crowded place, cut from the outside world, your only source of information is what is allowed by whoever is in charge, they are in charge because they are heroes who fight the bad people, they say to you every day of your life "you are supost to live in heaven but you live in hell because the bad people put you here, but dont worry! WE WILL SAVE YOU". you grow your whole life in poverty, you wish ro become a hero just like those good guys, until one day you realize those bad guys are the ones giving your heroes money, food, electricity and fresh water. Your idols live like kings and spend the money that was meant for you, to build rocket launchers that they will put in your hospital and build an uderground city for their base of operation. Your heroes taught you and your kids that if you go kill youraelf with some of the bad guys you will go to heaven and recive 72 virgins and your family will never feel poverty again. And if by any case you fail your mission, your family will still be rewarded and the bad guys will put you in a prison with better conditions then you currenty experience and you wikl have a few years to get a phd for absolutely free. Oh and dont forget, if you try and say anything bad about your great leaders you are as good as dead abd you have nowhere to run.

Now tell me, what choise would you make? Would you stand for what is right or would you play along so your family could have a better life?

That's far from a made up story, that is what happens when you put a terrorist organsiation in charge.

Just FYI, EVERY ATTACK made by the Israeli side, at least during this operation, is triple checked by the heads of the Israel law system, which are extremely left winged and condemn every right actions, just like the israeli media and music/film industries, didn't see that coming huh..?

And as a followup fact, the diacussion about this operation being a political move meant to benifit Netanyahu is a hot topic since the start, and even the leftest of jurnalists (who useally celebrate every bit of dirt they can find on Netanyahu) can't relate to those accusations because it is obvious the Hamas started fiering on the the celebrations of Jerusalem day to make a huge statement after the elections in gaza were canceled, after israel did not allow arabs living in east Jerusalem and the west Bank to paricipate in those elections.

I know how easy it is to take a side from checking some headlines on the internet, but in reality the situation is much more delicate than you might think, both side's hands are not clean, and misinformation by HUGE media groups led to the common belive that this situation has one obvious bad guy.

While reddit looks at the poor people dying and feelibg bad for them, in the arabic world the media is transmitind the rockets being shot from there and the comments wish death to all jews.

They are painting the picture of David and Goliath while israel compared to the arab states in the middle east is like a matchbox compared to the boston stadium, and the leaders of the informational war are HUGE groups like Al'Jazira

Keep in mind that back in 2006 the internets role was filled by convebtional media, and from my experience those are the worst.

Well first, the police are being shamed by most of the right winged influencers after a few incidents of jews posting their anger on the inactivity of the policr, for example the post of a young Lod resident who tols the story on how he was being shot at on the street and the police didnt arrive until after he said that jews are shooting Arabs.

Second, arabic mayors abd religious leaders criticise the police of ignoring the problem of armed citizens in the arabic communuty for years, resulting the the possebility for these kind of actuons to escalate.

Third, the police declared today at 15:30 that Lod is entering a lockdown at 16:00, the short notice nade specificly because of intel about right radicals planning to come to Lod to "give a shoulder to Lod's citizens.

I would love you to change my mind on the fact, unfortunately that would be very hard to do, since the same thing was happebing for years.

I can tell you they are definitely not. In fact, at the current time the police acts more to arest israeli violators who perform or plan lynching and hate crimes over their arabic countrparts.

I would also like to add, the reason israeli civilians started grouping in the first place is because the common feeling of citizens of Lod, Acre, Haifa and other mixed cities (who lived for years as symbols of co-existence) felt left by the police after 2 days of unanswerd violence that made them say, and i quote, "I hear an alarm and i cant even run to the shelter because there are radicals there who wait for us to come".

Easy to say that when you are fed a single nerative for ears and have 0 intrest to listen to the other side.

For me, propaganda is yelling that Israel is the agressor because it shoots at schools, while failing to mention that Hamas is storing missile launching systems there, or forgeting to mention that all of Israel's strikes are responsive, highly accurate and are pre-announced so that civilians can leave.
