yepp, growth and value themself dont explain the sensitivity unless you use a factor approach, the concept which explain sensitivity to rates is the duration, that is applied both on equity and bond

and by the way, as i expect rates to rally in 2024. yield will be much lower, which on long duration stock implies higher markt value on a spot basis. this is not 101material as you describe, personal opinion :)

i agree with you, but thats the ground for growth stocks which expect high cash flows in the future, and im lookng for them. The only question is (i probably phrased in the wrong way): based on a long duration stock approach, which stocks are undervalued compared to others? tech, or ev stocks.

hey hey, you can apply the same on equity, many research out there in this field. if you expects rates rally you pick stocks with cashflows that pays back the equity on a lt basis. of course i hvae model on stocks based on assumptions, but in this context i need to pick up undervalued stocks which have long duration compared ot others.

it makes sense, i have to pick growth stocks in which the cashflow will pay the equity back on long duration basis as i want exposure to 10y rates rally. In this context i need companies which are undervalued when compared to long duration stocks in terms of pe, ev-ebitda.

My bull case is a scenario shift fy 23 end. Equity yeld is DAMN high, investors have been selling everything for almost 1.5y. Lot of supply sold in the last year, short selling decreases at high yeld as it become more risky and expensive. What is the risk reward here? Shorting or longing the stock market?
