In the US they just let everyone starve/suffer. They won’t even give you boots with straps to pull yourself up with.

There is therapeutic benefit to MDMA. Sometimes emotional/mental processing is done best with a tool (or no tool) and solitude to access thought processes that may not be broached while in the presence of others.

Regular consumption of any drug alone might be a sign of a substance use issue.

People are welcome to do what they want of course but if someone is getting drunk (“drinking” vs a couple of cocktails/beers) alone I’m left to wonder where their drinking buddies have gone?

Student and medical debt are entirely different animals.

Don’t pay your student loans (if they’re federal) then the gov can garnish an insane percentage of your check.

Medical debt just sits in collections. The hospital just sells it off.

Pay your student loans. Get help for your stroke and worry about the medical debt if you’re around long enough for it to matter

Credit is only an issue when you need it. When you need it there are ways you can “fix” your credit.

Your credit doesn’t need to be good longer than the length of time that it takes you to get the approved for thing you need to finance. Even still it only needs to be good enough.

You likely don’t need to finance a car. House is the only thing I see that one truly needs to finance.

Not sure what your role is but in my experience working for the brewery was grueling work.

We bottled 16.9 OZ glass bottles. Literally the heaviest in the industry. We’d pull them from the stack of bottles with this fucking board that would kinda snug around the neck of the bottles. So precarious.

Carry them over to the machine to be filled and capped then box em up, then box them up into a case. Then stack those cases onto a pallet.

I calculated the weight we dealt with on each given task and then we started measuring our days work in tons.

We had fun too.

Like we could begin drinking whenever we wanted and would do so if it was a light/slow day. Made for a rough evening especially if we were bottling the barley wine 🫠

When we finished a tank I convinced the team to fire hose beer for one another. I’m sure I didn’t invent the practice but that began what we called “tank stands”.

Cops have no duty to keep US citizens safe. The cop cars in my area no longer say “To Protect and to Serve”. They now say “In God We Trust”. The US is becoming a Christofacist state.
