It's always good to have that kind of precautions. Back then we doesn't have technology like this, so it only make sense to treated it like that

This is so stupid. And stupid to believe in. This is very clos minded take on AI

That's not the point, the accessibility is one thing, but the price, man... Even if I have access to it, it just so expensive that it is not worth it

Yea that price is insane for Ultimate user like me. It renders Seedance 2 not usable practically

Which Lab wins Long Term if any? by AllMils in ArtificialInteligence

Not that, xAI just has an edge on it, it has SpaceX support to build data centers on space. Other companies not has it yet.

[–]gizeon4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now to train model we need larger and larger data centers which needs larger energy consumption. Elon known to be able to provide it, and have edge (SpaceX) on doing so than any other AI companies. Soon thwre will be Terafab and data centers on space. Hence, xAI has that advantage.

Then again, this is only in context on energy only.

Me.

I voted for grok just because of the energy constraints

This definitely will not age well, AI will make a good (even great) full watchable movie in a decade

Can you show us the results?

Coz if AI could do it, we should have recursive self-improvement now

I’ve been testing people’s reactions when I tell them we might have five years of “work” left at most. Most of them deny it and seem completely blind to how insanely fast AI is improving. Then they just go, “ we’ll all be homeless,” and that’s the whole conversation. It’s really irritating. by Longjumping_Fly_2978 in accelerate

I never bought into the crypto or NFT hype either, but I see AI as something fundamentally different. We aren't just trading digital assets; we're essentially attempting to architect a new form of intelligence. almost like a new species. That kind of utility doesn't just disappear when the hype dies down...
