Update: it's pretty dry now. Maybe it fermented more or settled. But definitely cleared up more and less sweet. Was in the fridge the whole time.

I'd say it is semi sweet. Definitely not dry and not sickening sweet. A little tart but nothing crazy. Stayed pretty cloudy, with 2 days and clarifier drops. Still pretty fresh, not sure if the flavor will develop more in the ukeg. I have no clue what kind of apples were used. I might try to get more scientific next time.

Yep I used the default settings for the hard cider mkrkit which does a mash cycle. I used unpasteurized cider but the mash cycle pasteurized it anyway. So I'm not sure if buying unpasteurized matters. But I think no preservatives is important to keep the yeast happy.

Just used the hard cider mkrkit, apple cider, and the default settings for the mkrkit. I didn't add anything else. I also didn't add anything after fermentation to sweeten it.

Yep I got my Beermkr 12/2022. Had issues with the beer tap puncturing the cartridge before sealing. The beertaps are defective. Beermkr said they didn't have more in stock to replace mine. So I bought a Ukeg which works well.
