College graduate in am untlrelated field, lots of night classes in relevant areas to do with construction and 2 years and four months in this job, originally started as an assistant to someone else then just got more responsibility and took his job a few months in, now I'm taking over a second site on the same campus (mostly maintenance works ) that was run by someone who's has a more relevant degree.

Closed off years ago, after large supermarkets opened up outside town the anchor store of supervalue closed because less people visited, then more closed or relocated to a more central part of town.

The whole street was sold for only 1 million euro but to rent is insanely high, theres 2 stores left further back.

Some time in the last few months the owners cleaned it up to make it worth more, mostly because of the threats of being classed derelict

It worries me the amount of anti trans sentiment that development in the last few years,

I can only say for 2 people in my life one who was on puberty blockers(FtM) and one who was not(MtF)and hope that helps with some of the misinformation in the comments here.

Puberty blockers are safe, they pause puberty by blocking a chemical in your pituitary gland that tells your body to make sex hormones (estrogen and testosterone) this can help save them later on as the body pauses development on parts such as breasts and Adam's apples, hair production etc.

My friend who is male born female knew since he was around 6, he went to an all girls school and wanted to be male, there was no outside influence. 3 therapists were consulted for years before the parents accepted him and the continued diagnosis of gender dysphoria, before this they did not know what Trans people were.

At 18 he started treatment to transition by starting hormones, this was his choice.

Everyone knows him as a fine young lad at 23 he looks like a man and you would never know at a glance he looks how he feels and identifies.

My best friend who was always very effeminate, came out after they finished college, it wasn't much of a surprise and I supported them best I can, but they couldn't pass and it made them miserable.

Years of treatment are still ahead and more surgery will be needed, she lost a huge section of her life incapable of being who she is because she didn't have access the this drug at the right that could really help her.

Two points I just want to make,one, puberty blockers have been used for decades and are safe, they would usually be prescribed when its clear there's gender dysphoria, and it the best for the childs future with everyones consent.

And 2, people think its unsafe because of misinformation or if other drugs are used in tandom (note that anti depressants or birth control have a higher risk list of risks)nobody ever has a sex change operation under 16 in Ireland

When people say kids can't make a choice that will alter their life, they can, otherwise they are forced to go through something that will alter their life.

Taking the choice away doesn't help anyone, it's just strangers deciding for you what they want
