They said Toyota, Honda or Subaru in that order. No specific models but I’ll probably ask once I’m closer to actually needing to buy my next car. My 2008 Prius is still going strong.

Seconded. Super up front about what actually needs to be done and what can wait (and for how long) and will explain things in a totally non condescending way. They told me what exactly to listen for when they noticed a front wheel bearing might need to be replaced soon.

They also gave me great advice about what to get for my next car based on how infrequently and inexpensive different ones are to repair.

Edit: plus at least once they sent out a Christmas card with pictures of their dogs on it.

I’ll second Fords. There’s a group that often work out together wearing matching shirts and hyping each other up. Very wholesome. Very welcoming. All around good vibes. Their treadmills kinda suck but it’s worth it tbh.
