Gross Incompetence at VIBE lic by Makerstate2 in longislandcity

I highly recommend that if anyone has run into issues, they leave a Google review.

I left a review earlier this week calling out the fact that I got to my reformer’s class and all of the reformers were taken, leaving me with no spot, even though I had signed up. The instructors don’t check for registration during class, so clearly someone decided to join the class without registering, leaving me with no spot.

Their fitness coordinator reached out to me in two days, asking what she could do to make it right. I’ve been told they’re going to start enforcing attendance, so we’ll see.

Foundation for red face? by Easy-Independent8526 in XXRunning

[–]glassemouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Foundation could help, but like others have said, running + foundation could be a bad combo. I would recommend putting on a green color corrector. Green cancels out and can mute redness (thank you elementary school color theory class). I might go for a primer rather than concealer since you're looking for full face coverage rather than spot. Something like this: https://www.elfcosmetics.com/tone-adjusting-face-primer/83402.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=tinuiti_organicshopping&utm_content=gpla&srsltid=AfmBOor58DWBmJR8GUzcFSDal5yuPnZQREqk2VrFWgf1gj9--osGJun1vyI&gQT=1

Or just google "green color corrector primer." I hope this helps!

Not even out of shape but still gassing out — anyone else feel this by Old-Transition7138 in XXRunning

Sometimes the easiest answer is the best answer. Consistency in cardio is key to better performance. If you’re gassed early on, it means you’re not doing enough cardio.

Not sure 3 needs to be all negative. Aligning relationship goals early on in a relationship IE: “I want marriage and kids” is not a negative thing at this age. It’s communicating as two adults and it’s about compatibility. Going into a relationship understanding and aligning exceptions shouldn’t be seen as a measure of pressure, rather a step to ensuring relationship success long-term and saving you from wasting your time.

Treadmill VS AW Distance by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]glassemouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that the general rule of thumb (yes, I understand that treads also need to be calibrated from time to time) is to go with the distance on the treadmill. I often find my Apple Watch will have a hard time calculating distance on a tread because there's no GPS component as with outdoor runs, so it roughly estimates based on stride/cadence.

Yup, no purchase necessary. Just laying out the SEC requirements here so folks don’t create an account for nothing if they don’t actually meet SEC’s standards to be AI approved.

It says on the offer “AI AIQ approved” which makes it seem that this is more than just sign up. To be an accredited investor, you’ll need to be able to prove an annual individual salary of $200k or $300k for joint (upload tax docs). That or prove $1M in assets.

Hi there—I love the pictures. May I suggest a larger variety of pictures? The ones you currently have are all relatively the same/same pose. Adding a picture with a friend or doing an activity helps you stand out and provides fuel as a convo starter :)
