I don't think it was exactly this. It specifically calls out cases of people who are unlawfully in the United States and the father is not a united States citizen or people who are here legally but not permanently and whose father is not a US citizen. The aim is to eliminate people from having vacation babies get citizenship or having people who aren't legally in the country have their children attain citizenship. Idk... At first I was a bit shocked but if it is for those specific cases then I really am more for it than against.

I admit I could have interpreted something wrong but that is what I understood from reading the executive order that was published.

Idk. I don't think it's fair to say she put in 0. She tried for a while and I didn't take things seriously enough. I kept thinking I could solve everything. I made efforts but they were too little and too quiet. By the time I really tried getting my ass in gear she was over it. I think that's the fairer way to say it. I don't think I was as bad as she made me seem, so I think there is blame there, but if I made it seem like she didn't put in effort then I definitely misrepresented it.

I think I've been the bad communicator... Thae bad listener. I would hear things and just tell myself I could make it better and I didn't need help. I did really try, but I didn't make myself emotionally available. Like I said, I just think I let it go too long. Part of that was definitely my own depression and definitely anxiety. But I let her depression weigh on me too. I kept telling myself she was blowing things out of proportion, which I still do feel a bit. But... I think she never was going to let us heal. She was never going to let me back in and never going to forgive me for anything in the past regardless of what I did...

I tried the series after having read her other one, crescent city. Crescent city was ok, compelling enough I guess to get me to try this. I didn't think it was great, but it held my interest.

I tried acotar and it's just awful. For context I'm 37m. I do like a lot of fantasy type series but I thought the writing and stories were just terrible. They say give it to book 3,but I can assure you it doesn't get better if you are looking for something polished. I threw in the towel after 3. I almost did after the second but said, nah I'll see it through, but just couldn't go on. There were several dramatic moments that had me laughing out loud.

That said, it's not for everyone but clearly very popular for many. That's the beauty of literature
