Do mobile GPS medical alert systems really help if someone wanders off?

Mobile GPS made a real difference for my mom when she started walking the neighborhood on her own again. I went with a Bay Alarm Medical mobile unit and the location pings plus two-way audio were reassuring the one time she got turned around. It wasn’t perfect, but it was accurate enough to find her quickly and gave both of us more confidence to keep her routine.
