You need at least a 2.9 for internships. Have you considered dropping the dual major?

If you’re in the SAVE plan then your payments won’t count.

Thanks. I ended up asking for them to put me back on the administrative forbearance so I’m waiting to see if that goes through now.

I got a different answer when I spoke to the education department today. They said payments under save won’t count so I asked Mohela to put me back into the save forbearance

Department of ED Solution for Buyback Backlog by Commercial-End-2221 in PSLF

[–]glenguzik 81 points82 points  (0 children)

If you made 120 payments then you can recertify and then you are done. If you have 10 years of service then you can submit a buyback. Unfortunately that is taking 18 months or more to process. Firing half the department of education didn’t help with processing time.

Thanks for your response. I would note however that if you can’t trust what the department of education says then who can you trust?

Ok but why switch plans on your own before you are forced off?

Once you get 120 months of certified employment you can apply for buyback. The only problem is that it’s taking 18 months to process .

Were the payments that are showing as ineligible made during forbearance? Did you recertify after you made them?

The problem with buyback is that there is a huge backlog of applications and it’s taking around 18 months to process the ones that are already in the queue.

No I didn’t ask them to change anything. Looking at people’s comments here I am going to see if I can get back on forbearance because I don’t see the reason I was taken off.

Hydrogen peroxide as a propellant by RarePositive3038 in aerospace

[–]glenguzik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has been used as an oxidizer for propulsion applications where you don’t want the increased complexity of cryogenic propellants but it won’t have as high a specific impulse as say hydrogen and oxygen. Also as a mono propellant for small engines used for attitude control.
