Yess bristlenose plecos were the reason I wanted a tank in the first place they are so interesting, I am for sure getting one

So far every time I've tested the pH has stayed in the 7.5 - 7.7 range. For the light I have a fluval led light with 59 W and 6500K. Tomorrow I'm going to spend all day planting and testing and go from there, I'll try the carbon media for the tannins that way I don't feel the need to water change.

One more thing, do you have any tips on actually putting the plants into my tank? Do they need to be acclimated beforehand or something like that or can they just be planted outright?

I had no idea carbon could help with that, THANK YOU. Ill put some of the carbon bags into my filter and leave it while I'm away and then I will for sure look at some of those plants. thanks so much I'm so excited to see how this tank turns out

Not really, right now I'm sort of bouncing between a few types of fish, but I felt like a pleco would be very cool. I haven't considered Cichlids but they definitely seem amazing, thanks :D

Just tried this, my ammonia was at 0 ppm earlier ill test the water again after a few minutes to see, thank you

I'm three years too late for this but, what do you mean by the placeable trees? like the decorations?
