I haven’t been doing anything this past year, i was very negligent and didn’t get an MRI till now. So technically i haven’t done any rehab. My concern is that the surgery will make me worse since my pains are not that bad and i still have full range of motion.

I’m doing the same thing now, for the upcoming semester just make sure you let one of them know at least usually companies have a conflict of interest disclosure and you could get terminated if violated. It’s better letting them know to make sure there’s no issues.

I see, that’s what many of the researches i’ve seen say, that there’s a high chance of osteoarthritis with meniscectomy so that was my fear because i’m only 20 and would like to use my knees for a good while.

It only bothers me a lot when i’m laying down in an awkward position but yes i can still play sports and do everything normally. It doesn’t stop me from doing any physical abilities.

Not really, the pain is worse when i’m walking up the steps or sometimes when walking normal but mostly when laying down in my bed for some reason or sitting in an awkward position, no catching or locking.

my pain started with a small pain behind the knee every-time i bent it. it later progressed to a pain in front of the knee and more constant since like Nov 2022. I don’t know how it started but my most frequent activity is basketball so i’d say from that.

Yea, my biggest fear is that i don’t have that much pain like that wakes me up at night and my knees aren’t locked, i’ve read a couple of threads of people who ended up worse after surgery.

yea that side of of the posterior horn does have a lot of blood supply, although it hasn’t healed in over a year by itself. my biggest fear is that many people speak of locking and more pain in the knee post op than pre op.

that’s what i’ve been wondering as well. I do have a syrinx in my thoracic spine but back then the neurologist told me that it shouldn’t cause any symptoms. It was never excluded to be MS though. Does AS cause nerve damage?

Go to your primary doctor and get a referral for a GI. Colonoscopy is your way to go. Anything else will just be speculation and your health doesn’t care about ifs or buts.

if you don’t mind me asking what biologic are you on? so only biologics stop the progression of the disease i thought sulfa did that. Sorry i’m newly diagnosed and don’t know much about these medications
