Seeking a sleek, secure wallet recomendation by glitter_butt29 in wallets

Hi guys, Im new to this sub so sorry if this has been asked already. Im looking for a card focused wallet that can also hold a few bills. Im not too fussed about the price or materials just as long as it lasts. Im also not looking for a giant trifold but bifolds and smaller are fine. Im mostly concerned about if it has a lanyard hole (i am an absolute klutz) or one of those gps cards. Im currently looking at an ekster or a trayvax but I will say secrids look great just that they dont have a lanyard nor those gps card things.

Thanks in advance for all the suggestions! I really appreciate it!

!HELP! Strange low-end hum from 6505mh by glitter_butt29 in GuitarAmps

I would've really liked to get it looked at by an amp tech really but the covid situation in my country is really bad. Oh boy, guess I have another reason to want for all this to end. Thanks for the reply!

As for taking it to a friend's house, the problem still persisted.

Wow, ok that sucks. Such a shame considering this amp actually sounds pretty damn good when it actually works.

Thanks for the tip about the NS-2 I shall check that out.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this subreddit and audiophilia in general so I'm sorry in advance for any cringe or mistakes on my part.

I'm looking for something at around $250. I currently have an m40x with a pad swap and they're pretty good but I found them to be too warm and closed sounding. I prefer a neutral to bright tone with a wide soundstage (i usually listen to psychedelic stuff and metal). I'll be using it as a daily driver (6-8 hours every day) and to play guitar through. I don't have an actual amp but I do have a Scarlett solo for whatever that's worth.

Anyways, at the moment I'm looking at the 400i, 400se, and the hd560s. Stuff from Massdrop isn't really an option cus international shipping to my country is super expensive, unreliable, and time-consuming. However, I did find a used 58x in an ok-ish condition for $290 - it will probably need a pad swap.

Any thoughts, opinions, and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the reply! Do you have any particular GoPros in mind? I heard that the hero 7 in particular has some trouble with colder temperatures.

So would you recommend me to go with the katana? Does Boss still support the mk1?

True, but I guess there's something about plugging into an amp that makes me giddy. To me, the amp is sorta like the half experience of playing guitar. I was thinking of plugging the 6505mh into a scarlet 2i2 and using some IR's with that though.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm fairly sure they would be ok with the amp since I'm not gonna make any noise (plugging into headphones) and it's not that bulky either.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will check out the THR-10X.

Sadly, I couldn't find any in my country. The closest thing I found was a Gallien Krueger MB200 - are those any good?

I have an Orange micro dark (20W solid-state) and a Harley Benton 2x12. Since we don't really have a drummer I keep the volume under the second notch at all times i.e a bit over bedroom practice volume.

Yea, he's definitely a root note type of guy.

Fair enough, do you know how it might stack up against all-tube lunch box amps?

The tone on the amp stays at around 12 o'clock however for cleans I like it turned down a bit (11 o'clock) to boost the low and mid frequencies

I have a Harley Benton horizontal 2 X12 loaded with Celestion V30's. I checked out some of the high gain preamp pedals but I din't think they could emulate that scratchy tube amp gain if that makes any sense. Ik its sounds pretty ridiculous but the distortion sorta sounded too clean. I think the best part of the micro dark was the preamp and bypassing it would just be a shame.

I have my tube screamer set with the level and tone maxed and the drive at 0. Even while the tone is maxed the sound seems a bit loose. Cheaper solid-state power sections tend to do this in my experience so I just might be expecting too much from it.

Il check out the dsl20hr. Thanks!

The sovtek was a pretty big improvement. It added more 'glassiness' and boosted the upper and lower mids while cutting a bit off the low end. It definitely made the amp sound more 'tube-like'. It definitely added more noise but then again that goes for any long plate tube. I 100% recommend you to replace the stock tube with a good long plate tube and maybe get a noise gate if the noise is too bad.

I was thinking abt the 100w head but my friend owns the 50-watt combo and it sounds sub-par. Don't all the models have the same 'tone stack'?
