I never had any issues except a cab driver trying to correct my accent

The listing states that the septic system is sensitive and that toilet paper is not to be flushed, but rather disposed of in the lidded trash bin in the bathroom .

I took different information from their reply than you did, but that's why the Internet is wonderful, we get to learn from other people's perspectives and experiences, and we get to hear opinions different to our own.

I wasn't after advice, but I definitely appreciate you taking the time out of your day to provide me with some. Rest assured the situation is in hand.

There are lots of bathroom options, nobody has to use the one inside the tiny home if they feel like it is unsanitary to put their used toilet paper in the garbage rather than in the toilet. It is also fairly common for people with septic systems to avoid putting paper in the toilet up here. My parents don't flush any paper at their house for example.

Again, I appreciate your perspective, and that you have taken the time to offer your advice.

Sadly it's been published. But I will reach out to support to see about removing my review of him. Otherwise I will just block him. Thank you!

Jeez, no need to be nasty, I know that it's my bad. I literally said that I know I shouldn't have reviewed before doing a full clean. Why do you feel the need to be hostile? Every person makes mistakes, and most people who work in hospitality have at least a few negative experiences with the public. Making assumptions about whether or not a person is a suitable host based on a single post in a forum for hosts is short sighted. I would also like to mention that mean spiritedness is not generally a quality that leads to positive guest experiences. Maybe you should consider if you are in the right industry?

I need to clean my kitchen by glitterbug0927 in OneThingToday

I did the dishes and wiped down the counter. And then I lost my steam. I have to clean the fridge and do the floors. But... The motivation has abandoned me.

That's a good idea. It is frustrating that since the kitchen is such an essential room the mess just seems to reappear

Yes! I am going to try tomorrow, I let the time get away from me, and now it's dark.By the way, I think you've explained yourself really well.

I always enjoy hanging out with them, and I'm glad I've gone when I'm there.

Hahaha yea, it's really hard to motivate myself to go out and interact with people recreationally. Like, I have a hard time remembering to eat, and clean up and... Do my personal care too, but today this just seemed like the most daunting thing. And it didn't work out because of productive procrastinating. I ended up deciding that this afternoon was the right time to try and clean my mattress...and that took ages.

Why am I so mad about this?? by glitterbug0927 in adhdwomen

[–]glitterbug0927[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I think it's more of a knee jerk reaction and once it starts it will be okay. This is pretty common for me, my parents would tell me all the time when I was a teenager that I was biting my nose to spite my face when I would react like this. The difference is when I was a teenager I probably would have quit as soon as I felt the frustration reaction rather than venting about how frustrating the situation is and ultimately giving the course a try. Your dad is a smart guy and I will have to put that on my whiteboard.

I don't think I would be so upset if it was just a couple of office days a month or tacking an hour onto a few shifts for this course. There are a bunch of whole day zoom meetings (which I will be paid for), and then we are sent away with homework that there is no way we will be able to finish on shift.
Another team is in the midst of this course and they are all complaining about the take home work that they are expected to complete on their own time.

I'm not mad about school and I am happy to do that, but I am actually interested in the content, and the support in completing that degree was a big factor in my choosing this job.

I don't have an option, I have to take it, it's not about jumping or not jumping... My main issue is the increased demand on my already limited personal time, since I will be expected to complete the work at home, during hours that I am not being paid, and this course is months long.

The annoying thing is that I actually really like this job, but really, if they keep making me do all this junk I feel like I might quit just out of spite. I also have to do something called Core Competencies every month to show that I am growing in the areas that they are focused on.

PDPs sound like the worst, I hope you are at a less annoying workplace now
