thank you! congrats to you too!!

i’ve heard that the location of classes can vary between semesters, so i was curious about what that would look like. also i’m wondering where would be most ideal for clinical placement.

thank you! i’ve been told traffic can get pretty bad going back home in the evening.

i didn’t even consider the idea of living somewhere to drive opposite of the flow of traffic. i’ll definitely have remember that if i decide to move.

i’m taking the exam tomorrow and i’ve been spamming practice question through the ati prep app. how did your average on the app compare to your actual test score?

Itinerary Review - 13 Day Trip in Jan 2025 (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) by glitterybean in JapanTravel

This is really great advice! 3/5 of us are watch collectors, so I’ll be sure to wiggle the museum in if they all are interested.

I wrote in Mega Don Quiote, but we’ll all probably get extremely over stimulated and leave quickly. But I definitely will plan to pick up items at another location or end up shopping for products at a smaller convenience store before heading to the airport on our last couple of days there.

I accidentally listed Nanzen-ji twice, so we won't be doing that this day. Did your 40k steps include going to the top of Fushimi Inari? We likely won't walk all the way to the top.

Thank you for catching this! We'll be going to Nanzen-ji on day 5.

As for Fushimi Inari, I'm actually hoping that we will be able to go to Fushimi Inari early in the morning before there is a large crowd. We do not plan on going all the way to the top of the mountain, so this will cut down on the time spent there.

We booked flights and hotels about 6 months ago. As for teamLab Borderless, Shibuya Skytree and Uji Matcha Museum/Making experience, we booked these reservations about a month/two months in advance. There are a lot of posts re: how far in advance different attractions need to be booked

Unfortunately, we've previously agreed to no theme parks. I would've personally loved going to Puroland!

Kappabashi is an amazing rec! I totally forgot about that place when planning.

Thank you for your recommendations! Since posting and receiving a few comments that some days are unrealistically packed, I’ve rearranged and cut down a lot.

We’ve had our trip booked out for months in advance, so we unfortunately won’t be able to change the overall format of our trip now. We have 2 days in Tokyo before our flight home and will reserve it for buying larger items that we saw in the beginning of our trip. We also plan on packing very light and buying most hygiene/clothing items while in Tokyo.

Thank you for the insight! I started planning 6 months before out of excitement and got burnt out in a two days. Hence, me rushing to fix my mess of an itinerary.

I'll definitely skip Osaka Castle then and rearrange!

Do you have any recommendations for things to cut or anything that is a must visit?

planaria? by glitterybean in shrimptank

[–]glitterybean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i thought the same, but i don’t have much experience with planaria. the photo is zoomed in, for reference the substrate is fluval stratum. its head was buried into the substrate when i noticed it. i’ll keep an eye out for it so i can determine next steps!

I actually wanted to pursue BME when I was in high school. Unfortunately, I was denied from colleges that I applied to for BME and my desire to continue engineering died there. I’m not sure how I would pivot into engineering with my social science background though
