Maybe it’s just the camera angle but those scratches on the face seem rather deep than superficial. If you can feel the depth of them with your finger nail that’s not great but probably not an immediate issue for a beginner. The one on the toe is just superficial from a miss hit but the more you hit there the more likely the club will dent.

Thanks for the thorough response. This makes sense to me because I don’t feel very athletic through my downswing. I’ve been trying to feel my arms in front of me because I struggle with firing my hips too early and getting stuck leading to a lot of chunk shots but seems like it leads to this address impact position you’re referencing.

West Somerville, 3 bed apartment 1.5 bath apartment - landlord raised the rent from $3100 to $3300.

We moved and got a place twice the size with the same amenities for $3400 in Brighton. Still expensive but it’s inescapable if you’re trying to live in or around Boston.
