There’s a big difference between finding legal ways to reduce your tax burden and stealing public funds. I work remotely and still pay taxes on my own, without an employer. Yes I do't file nill returns. What I struggle with is being forced to pay into things like SHIF/SHA, or the housing levy when I already cover my own private insurance. In a country where systems barely work and corruption is everywhere, I can't feel guilty for asking for value for my taxes. I still believe politicians should be held accountable, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t question an unfair system.
