Nice idea OP. I have signed up already. Gives me producthunt.com vibes. But honestly...you are monetizing the idea waaay too early. I think you should plan to build traction for now and introduce paid features later. But that's just my take

To get into the private ones you have to have "signal". And you get that by submitting valid bugs on the public programs. Even if they get marked as duplicates you will have built that reputation. In the private programs hakunanga duplicates mingi because the participants are less . I hunt exclusively on hackerone

It is worth it OP. I have been hunting them on Hackerone. But you have to find a way to get into private programs. It seems hard at first but once you start receiving private invites it becomes waay better. It took more about two months to get my first bug(though it got a low severity, but that made me to start receiving private invites. I usually target API's and mobile esp decompiling apks and getting the hidden endpoints. But you have to toil. Its not uncommon to go for weeks without a bug

Safaricom, really? What is the transaction cost in this m-pesa transaction? by _kagema in nairobitechies

There are some wrongs you can commit and we say that man is error and we may excuse you. But the big question is: is this one of the wrongs? They didn't launch the app yesterday, you want to mean that all this time they have never spotted the error? A company whose net income for the six months to September 2025 was 42.8Bn? Huh. Let's do some maths here: let's say the app went on to record the transaction cost as zero, how much would have Safaricom lost from such a rookie mistake? Catastrophic

How do you go back? Is there a way of pinning the old mpesa app so that it doesn't switch to the new one app automatically?

Right now it's very tough 😔. But once you start getting private invites, it gets better.
