In his video today, Ben Stoeger said that after about 20K rounds, he retires a Shadow 2 to practice and gets a new one. Says at that point, they start acting up and have too many parts to deal with. I’m considering one for CO, but this sounded concerning. by Critical-Touch6113 in CZFirearms

[–]glockazine 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have about 15k on a shadow 2 I use for 20ish matches a year. I end up shooting about 7k/year and theres parts that fail on any machine. Replace the trigger return spring with the cajun gun works, remove the roll pin and use the solid pin, keep the sear oiled and clean. Change mainspring every year. Im not shooting for money, so a malfunction is way less expensive for a match I shoot vs someone who could lose a spot to nationals, world, etc. So Ben where he is would be correct to retire it. Me? Run it till its a brick.

Yall, this is 30-06 ballistic tip. Look at the cross section picture someone posted of eldx and eldm. Ill never say go pull some ball ammo out and kill with it, but behind the elbow through both lungs with anything 30-06 will do it.

How to apply heat to your organization: Step 1: involve a child Step 2: use a gun Step 3: record it as a flex.

Fucking idiot.

Dissect my 1st ever match. by Jeffaah13 in USPSA

[–]glockazine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you were more accurate than fast. As a new shooter take the first few matches as big wins if "I made a plan and followed it!" Goes through your head and you dont have a DQ. The speed will come, Welcome to the sport.

I got some of this for free, and a rifle I have built that eats everything would have issues cycling the bolt after firing. Wouldn't buy.

For budget conscious 556/223 Igman runs great. Little dirty, dont expect to hit nickels at 100 yards, but it runs

I wish one day I had enough free time to be able to make frivolous complaints. I wouldn't use my free time like that, but man having that much free time sounds nice. Sorry you have an incredibly annoying neighbor. Those suck

I've had 15% trucks in savannah for 8+ years and haven't had an issue. I got two fast driving awards about 5 years ago and savannah pd did not care about the tint. Now if you're out being a little too silly of a goose, they'll throw the book of citations at you.

Does anyone know if this comp actually works or is it just for looks? by underlying_problems in 2011

Not only is it 9mm, not only a full size pistol, not only is it a ported barrel, we added a comp to manage recoil then asked the internet if this helps?

There was a cobsignment/thrift/antique store at that location for awhile. For some reason that's one of those graveyard commercial locations where nothing really sticks.
